Fremont Healthy Start

Fremont Healthy Start (FHS) provides basis need services to low income, immigrant familis from the Fremont/Newark community.  The FHS staff speak English, Spanish, Farsi, Pashtu, Korean, Vietnamese, Punjabi and Hindi.  Services include:

• Case management, information and referral - legal aid, WIC, INS, housing, social services, etc.


• Health Care


• School advocacy


• Health insurance enrollment and information


• Food and clothing


• Assistance with applications


• School based mental health counseling at two Fremont schools
